Beginner Watercolor Workshops

Are you interested in learning more about watercolor painting?

I’m currently preparing a series of Beginner Watercolor Workshops—four-hour guided experiences where we’ll paint the same subject together in a supportive group setting. With a maximum of 10 participants, you’ll receive plenty of individual attention while also enjoying the creative energy of working alongside others.

Each workshop will feature a different painting. I’ll guide you step-by-step through the entire process—from taping down your paper to matting your finished artwork. Along the way, you’ll learn about essential tools, paints and palettes, watercolor techniques, composition, elements of design, and how to bring your painting to life with strong light and shadows.

Workshops will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Howard’s Art Supplies & Custom Framing, located at 1256 Dual Highway in Hagerstown, MD.

The cost is $70 per workshop, which includes all supplies, and sessions are open to ages 14 through adults.
