 Debra J. McClain, the talented artist behind DJ's Watercolor, calls the vibrant state of Maryland her home. With a lifelong passion for various crafts, she discovered her true calling in watercolor painting, captivated by its vivid colors and fluid movements on paper. This artistic journey has not only rejuvenated her spirit but also deepened her appreciation for God, the ultimate artist.

To further her skills, Debra studied for three years with David J. Rogers of Morro Bay, CA, alongside a small group of artists from around the world. This experience helped her cultivate a unique style and gain the confidence to thrive as an artist.

Debra often loses herself in her home studio, where time slips away as she immerses herself in her creations. She also finds plein air painting exhilarating, relishing the opportunity to capture the beauty and emotions of her surroundings in real time. Whether working indoors or outdoors, she becomes fully absorbed in the scene, allowing her emotions to guide each brushstroke.
